Recorded in (2013). More prescient today than when originally released.
This is one of those songs that somehow just happens... it was written and recorded within a 3 hour period. Wayne Erwin (of Rockin' Foo and The Monkees' fame) played the guitars on the 1982 demo, which can be heard here. Rather than re-record the song from scratch we just superimposed some new elements onto the demo from 1982. "California Myth" shattered, lol.
It's a perilous life. Pray Attention.
From the 90s' Era - Remember "Boy Bands"... when Zomba was a "thing"?
Imagined Brian Wilson and Jimmy Webb collaboration... with props to Jean Sibelius.
90s' Era "DEMO" - Remember "Boy Bands"... when Zomba was a "thing"?
“It’s A Big Club, And You Ain’t In It.” - George Carlin.
- A hastily produced anthem to counter the hate-filled divide-and-conquer 24/7 MSM narrative. We are human souls struggling to survive in THEIR world, but our CLUB is bigger and THEY ain’t in it.
"It's called "The American Dream"... ' cause you'd have to be asleep to believe it". - George Carlin
Written in Atlanta, which helps to explain it's obvious Southern elements. Screams out for a 'call and response' from a gospel choir.
90s' Era Demo (Unreleased)
The "happiest" song ever, lol. Like just one fry shy of a "HAPPY MEAL" ( McDonald's are you listening?)
90s' Era"DEMO" for a Christmas movie - had THE BANGLES or WILSON PHILLIPS in mind I recall.
Will put you to... sleep.
(This song eventually became "The Dream Was Just A Dream")
